Grown in wind-blown loess on basalt bed rock in Washington.
This is an aromatic blend inspired by the great
blends of the noble four Alsatian varietals and the
art from Flora Bowley on our label. We ferment cold
in stainless steel to retain the truest characteristics
and the freshness of each varietal. Fermentations are
arrested with 17g/L residual sugar which balances
wonderfully the higher acidity of the wine. The wine
is bottled soon after filtration to ensure freshness.
Color: Pale yellow.
Bouquet: Jasmine, honeysuckle and citrus blossom.
Taste: Citrus, white peach and mineral.
Ideal with foods as diverse as a spring salad, grilled fish or roasted pork loin.
We use no malolactic fermentation or commercial yeast in our Artist Blend.
