Graceful aromas of cooked summer berries, cherry, dried plum, espresso and light herbal notes. Soft on the palate with dried cherry, light plum notes, over delicate vanilla and spice. Aromas of blueberries, blackberries and moss follow through to a full body, with fine tannins and a juicy, fruity, fresh finish. Savory and lightly salty. Excellent to drink now but better in two or three years. A delicious wine for a good price. Predominantly Sangiovese. – JS (November 2012)
