Trebbiano d’Abruzzo

Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, a white varietal produced in Abruzzo is also known as Bombino Bianco. The cluster supposedly resembles a baby (bambino) with its arms outstretched, and was originally given the name Bambino which became Bombino.

Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC – A white wine produced with Trebbiano grapes grown throughout the region of Abruzzi. It has been noted since extremely ancient times that Abruzzi produces the finest grapes and wines. Trebbiano d’Abruzzo was so popular with the army that it was known as the “soldiers’ wine.”
