Select vineyards on the hills surrounding southern Rome in the Castelli Romani area within the Roma DOC zone. Rich volcanic soil.
The vines are trained using the Guyot system. Fully ripened grapes are picked during the last 10 days of September, followed by maceration on the skins for 10-12 days at a temperature of 22-26°C. Part of the wine is aged in small oak and then finished in stainless steel.
Color: Ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense aromas of wild berries with slightly spicy notes.
Taste: Smooth and persistent flavor with velvety tannins.
