Western Sicily. Volcanic soils of medium texture, chalk and clay.
Temperature-controlled fermentation with prolonged maceration on the skins. Aged in stainless-steel and then 3 months in oak casks prior to 2-3 months of bottle refinement.
Color: Intense red color with violet flecks.
Bouquet: Complex character with hints of wild cherry, raspberry and vanilla.
Taste: Rich and intense with well balanced acidity; full bodied with a velvety long finish.
Perfect match to grilled meats, aged cheeses and hearty pastas.
